A thatched stone cottage surrounded by autumn colours: red and golden leaves, pumpkins, chrysanthemums and a wooden gate. Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, with the threads already sorted on a yarn organizer and a large-square chart that is easy to follow even with little experience of counted work.
The design is worked in cross stitch over two fabric threads, with a little back stitch to outline windows, fence and branches. A frame is not included: once finished, wash and press the work on the reverse, then have it mounted on board and framed. A hoop or frame to hold the fabric taut is also handy.
