A deer turned three-quarters towards the stitcher, its antlers spreading against a softly blurred woodland background. The whole design is worked in shades of sepia, from dark brown to cream, and belongs to the Vervaco range built around this palette. With only ten colours the shading comes from broad areas of stitching, so the work grows quickly.
Everything needed to stitch is in the box, threads included; the frame is not supplied. A hoop or frame to keep the Aida taut and good lighting for reading the chart both help. The tall, narrow format suits a slim frame in a rustic room or a country-style hallway.
