A corner of a pond in high summer: pink water lilies open on the surface, floating leaves, reeds and trees mirrored in the blue water. The shading of water and foliage comes from many closely related colours, so this is a rewarding piece for someone with a little experience of counted cross stitch who enjoys landscapes.
Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, with the threads already sorted on the organiser and ready to use. You only need to add a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors, which are not included, nor is the frame shown in the photo. On 16 count Aida the stitches are small, so good light and perhaps a magnifier will help.
