Description

A Christmas cushion with a Nordic feel: stylised white fir trees, a few red baubles and a scatter of snowflakes on the dark grey fabric. You simply follow the printed design, filling branches and trunks with long, flat stitches and outlining the finer details in back stitch; once finished, the print washes out.

With only two thread colours the result stays clean and graphic, though the many long stitches call for a steady hand and some experience. The cushion pad is not included and should be bought separately in the matching size. A fairly large embroidery frame is also handy to keep the fabric taut.
