Runner - Christmas Trees

The design is printed straight onto the runner, so there is no counting involved: you stitch following the colours and the large-square chart, and the printing ink washes out after the first wash. The fabric comes cut and hemmed, so once the embroidery is done there is no sewing left to do.

The long, narrow shape suits a festive table, but it also looks good on a sideboard or a console table. DMC threads and a needle are already in the kit; an embroidery hoop and a sharp pair of small scissors make the work easier. The dark grey ground sets off the white trees and the red berries.
