Description

A birth record to stitch in a handful of soft shades: the baby's foot stands out against a background already printed on the fabric, while outlines and lettering are finished in back stitch. The alphabet supplied with the chart lets you add the name, the date and the birth weight, as shown in the photo.

With only eight colours the work grows quickly, so it suits stitchers with little experience; the threads come ready sorted on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You will also want a hoop or frame for stitching, and the picture frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed as a new baby or christening gift.
