Potpourri bags: Wintertime

Three little bags to cross stitch and then fill with potpourri, lavender or small sweets: the bags come already made up at the sides, so once the stitching is done you simply close them with the blue cord supplied. The fabric is a fine Aida, so the stitches come out small and crisp; good light helps, and a hoop or frame if you like to keep the fabric taut.

The chart is printed with large squares, which makes it easy to follow even with little experience of counted work. A hoop and scissors are not part of the kit. Finished, the bags can hang in a wardrobe, sit in a drawer, or be used as place markers and small Christmas gifts.
