Description

A ready-hemmed table runner to embroider by following the floral spray printed on the fabric: there is no counting to do, and the printed lines wash out after the work is finished, leaving only the stitching. The stitches involved are the classic surface embroidery ones, from satin stitch to stem stitch, all explained in the instructions.

An embroidery hoop and a small pair of scissors make the work easier; the cotton and linen blend is soft but firm and washes well. Once finished, the runner can be used on a dining table, a sideboard or a chest of drawers, and its five colours sit happily with plain table linen.
