Description

A ready-made table runner, hemmed and finished with an inwoven border: the design is printed straight onto the fabric, so you stitch by following the colours instead of counting threads. Alongside cross stitch there is stem stitch for the stems, back stitch for the outlines and a few French knots, all explained in the instructions.

The printed design washes out, so the finished runner comes up clean and can go straight onto a table or sideboard. A hoop or frame makes the stitching easier, and when you are done press the runner from the back on a soft towel so the knots keep their relief.
