A square tablecloth that comes ready made: the floral design is printed straight onto the hemmed fabric, so there is no counting involved and you simply stitch over the printed colours, using the large-square chart as a guide. The printing ink washes out, leaving only the stitches on the finished cloth.
The embroidery runs around the border and leaves the centre free for a vase or a bread basket. Threads and needle are included: you only need scissors and, if you like working on taut fabric, a hoop large enough to move along as you go. A good project even with limited cross stitch experience, though its size means it takes time.
