Description

Zweigart's Aida band is a narrow strip of Aida woven with finished edges along both sides, ready to stitch without hemming. It suits bookmarks, cake and jar bands, borders for towels and table linen, gift ribbons and Christmas decorations, as well as names and dates to be applied to cushions and baskets.

The blocks are easy to count, so the band works well for beginners and for quick gifts. Cross stitch it with two strands of stranded cotton and a size 24 tapestry needle, or with one strand for a lighter result. Centre the design by counting out from the middle row of blocks and allow a few extra centimetres at each end for finishing.
