A Murmuration Of Starlings

A winter landscape at dusk, with snow over the hills, trees outlined in back stitch and a cloud of starlings crossing the orange sky. It is a good-sized project, suited to stitchers with some experience of counted cross stitch who enjoy working through many shades of blue, grey and white.

The kit comes with fabric, threads already sorted by colour, needle and chart, so you can start straight away; the frame is not included, and a hoop or frame plus a pair of embroidery scissors will make the work easier. The back stitch is added at the end to define branches, outlines and lettering. Once finished, it makes a picture to hang at home or to give as a gift.
