Description

An evening shoe built from the tools of the trade: a tape measure, floral cotton, lace and a reel of thread for the heel, with a butterfly fluttering alongside. A design that appeals to anyone who sews or stitches, and that looks at home on a craft room wall or as a present for a stitching friend.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on Aida, following the chart, with back stitch for the fine outlines and lettering and beads for a few highlights on the fabric and studs. A frame is not included; a hoop and a small pair of scissors are handy while you stitch.
