Description

Part of Bothy Threads' Shoe Art Collection, the series of imaginative shoes designed by Sally King: this one is built from late-summer colours, with checked and spotted fabrics, ripe fruit and a sheaf of wheat forming the heel. The stranded cottons come ready sorted on an organiser, so there is no time lost hunting for the right shade.

Alongside the cross stitch you will work back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the smaller details, both covered in the instructions, so it suits stitchers with a little experience. A hoop or frame helps keep the Aida evenly tensioned. A frame for display is not included: the finished piece can be framed or mounted on a board.
