Description

A bushy-tailed red squirrel taken from Hannah Dale's watercolours for the Wrendale collection. The Aida comes with a speckled printed background, so the soft painterly effect carries on across the unstitched areas. Alongside full cross stitches there are a few fractional stitches, back stitch for the outlines and whiskers and one French knot, which makes it a good choice if you have stitched before.

The threads arrive pre-sorted on a card organiser, ready to use. The hoop shown in the photo is not included: the round design is sized for a 7 inch hoop, an easy way to hang it straight away, though it can also be mounted in a conventional frame.
