A grey cat in a Santa hat holding a little present, with a mouse in reindeer antlers beside him: a greetings card to stitch and then send, designed by Margaret Sherry. The design is worked in counted cross stitch on white Aida, with a few back stitch outlines and three French knots, while the sparkle threads add a glint to the star on the hat.
The triple fold card and envelope are included, so once the stitching is done you simply mount the work behind the oval window and press the inner flap down. A small project that takes only a few evenings; a hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors make it easier.
