Anemones

A small garden of anemones with blue, lilac and pink petals, with bees flying between the flowers. The canvas comes printed with the outline of the design: you follow the lines and the chart to place the long stitches, which cover the ground quickly and give the petals their smooth, shaded look. French knots fill the flower centres and the metallic thread picks out the bees' wings.

All you need to add are scissors and, if you prefer to work with the canvas taut, an embroidery frame. The frame shown is not included: the finished piece can be framed or mounted on a panel or a cushion.
