A cow wrapped up in a green knitted hat and scarf looks straight at the stitcher, under gold lettering taken from Hannah Dale's original watercolour. The speckled background is already printed on the fabric, so the falling snow needs no stitching and the work grows quickly: you count from the chart, outline with back stitch and add just a few French knots.
Once finished, the embroidery is mounted in the triple-fold card supplied and becomes a greetings card to send in its envelope. Everything you need is in the kit: all you may want to add is a small hoop, if you like to keep the fabric taut, and a pair of embroidery scissors.
