Description

A new baby sampler to personalise: a cow, a sheep, a chick, two ducklings, a piglet and a heavy horse walk along a strip of grass, with a butterfly and an owl above them. Using the alphabet and number line included in the chart you add the date, the name and the birth weight, choosing coral or blue for the lettering.

The long, narrow shape suits a space above a cot or on a shelf: a frame is not included, so it is worth deciding on the finishing early. Alongside the kit you will want small scissors and, if you prefer the fabric taut, a hoop or frame. The French knots and the back stitch outlines are explained in the instructions.
