Description

A long, narrow birth sampler, with woodland animals lined up as if paying a visit to the new arrival. The chart includes an alphabet and a number line, so the baby's name, date of birth and weight can be added: a gift made to measure, and one you can start well before the due date.

It is worked in counted cross stitch on the Aida supplied, with back stitch outlines and a few French knots for the details; the threads come already sorted, so you can stitch straight from the chart. The frame is not included, and you will also want a hoop or frame to work on and a small pair of scissors. The elongated shape suits a picture above the cot.
