Greenery Deer

An Arts and Crafts style design, with two deer moving through leaves and flowers: the dark ground is stitched along with the subject, so the fabric is covered across the whole design area. It is worked in full cross stitches only, following the counted chart: the stitching itself is straightforward, but the solid coverage and the many shades of green take time and a little care in keeping your place on the chart.

The kit holds everything you need to stitch, threads included; a frame is not included, nor a hoop or scissors, both handy for keeping the fabric taut. The finished square can be framed or made up into a cushion.
