Description

A badger cub among the flowers, stitched on ice blue fabric. The finished piece is not framed but made up as a pennant, with the point at the bottom and the wooden dowel slipped through the top hem. The making-up instructions come with the kit, along with the chart and the threads already sorted by colour.

As well as cross stitch you will work back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the small details, so it suits someone who has stitched a project or two before. The hanging cord and tassel shown in the photo are not listed among the contents: they can be made from leftover threads. A hoop or frame is handy for working the fabric.
