Description

A white beehive among the flowers, bees drifting between blossoming apple trees and a straw skep hanging from a branch, with a reminder to plant trees to help the bees. The artwork is by Amanda Loverseed and the lettering sits clearly in the middle of the design.

The picture is worked in counted cross stitch on blockweave fabric, with outlines and letters finished in back stitch. The cottons come already sorted by colour, so you can start stitching straight from the chart. A hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors are useful while you work. A picture frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed or mounted on a padded board.
