Description

This chameleon from Rachel Froud's Menagerie series is worked in full cross stitch, with a few backstitch lines to sharpen the eye and the outline. The green background is already printed on the Aida, so only the bright scales are stitched: the piece grows quickly and still looks rich and colourful without covering the whole fabric.

The threads come ready sorted by shade on the organiser, easy to follow row by row. A frame is not included: a hoop or frame helps keep the fabric taut while you stitch, and a square frame or mount suits the finished piece. A good choice for stitchers with some experience who enjoy plenty of colours in a compact format.
