Marine Blue

An adult whale and her calf swim side by side in a sea suggested by splashes and pale blue bubbles. The watercolour artwork is by Hannah Dale, the illustrator behind the Wrendale Designs collection.

The bubble background is already printed on the fabric, so only the two whales are stitched and the piece grows quickly. The stranded cottons come sorted and numbered on a card organiser, which really helps when working through the many shades of blue and grey. You will also need a hoop or frame, scissors and, once finished, a picture frame, which is not included: the square format also suits a mount nicely.
