Six little figures in Regency dress, each standing under the title of the Jane Austen novel she or he belongs to: a long horizontal panel that looks at home in a study or above a bookshelf, and a lovely piece for book lovers. The design is by Alison Gardiner and is worked from the chart on evenweave Aida: besides cross stitch you will use back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the smallest details, so it suits someone who has stitched before.

The threads are pre-sorted and included, so you can start straight away; the frame is not part of the kit, nor are hoop and scissors. The elongated shape works well in a slim frame.
