Description

An otter with her two cubs, tucked in among blue flowers: the design comes from an original watercolour by Hannah Dale and arrives with everything needed to stitch it. The speckled background is printed on the fabric, so the soft tones of the painting carry on across the areas left unstitched.

The work follows a counted chart: alongside full cross stitch there are fractional stitches for the faces and fur and back stitch for outlines and whiskers, so it suits someone who has stitched before. A hoop or frame, scissors and a picture frame are not part of the kit — the frame shown in the photo is only for display.
