Rosehip Window

A window looking out over the winter countryside, with a robin perched among the berries and a candle burning on the sill. The design is full of small details and calls for careful chart reading and a little patience, so it suits stitchers who have already finished a cross stitch project or two. Apart from the cross stitch there is only back stitch for the outlines and a single French knot.

The threads come pre-sorted by colour, so you can start straight away; you will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors. Once finished, the piece works well framed as a tall wall picture — the frame is not included.
