Description

A row of three houses dressed for the festive season: a grey timbered one, a cream one and a red brick villa, with wreaths on the doors, garlands of greenery, a snowman in the garden and two cats crossing the snowy street. The artwork is by Sally Swannell and is worked in cross stitch, with back stitch for the outlines and French knots for the smallest details.

The sparkle threads catch the light on the snow and the lit windows. It is a generous design with plenty of detail, so a frame or hoop and good lighting help. The picture frame is not included: once finished, the piece can be framed and brought out as a Christmas decoration year after year.
