Under the Lemon Tree

A corner of the Mediterranean countryside: a stone well in the shade of a tree laden with lemons, a crate of freshly picked fruit, flowering shrubs and houses in the distance. The design combines full cross stitch, half cross stitch, backstitch outlines and French knots, with many shades of green and pink, so it is a demanding piece, better suited to stitchers who have already worked on large projects.
