Make a Wish Cottage

A thatched cottage with its windows glowing at sunset, a wishing well in the foreground and flowering borders along the stone path: a detailed, richly shaded scene worked in counted cross stitch from the chart. The background is stitched all over, so it is a long project, better suited to stitchers who are already comfortable with cross stitch and with reading a chart with many colours.

The kit provides all the stitching materials; a hoop or frame and good light will make the work easier. The frame shown in the photo is not included: once finished, the embroidery can be laced over board and framed as a picture.
