The Old Apple Tree

An old apple tree heavy with fruit next to a house, surrounded by flowers, a vegetable plot and open countryside: a detailed landscape with plenty of shading, worked in counted cross stitch from the chart. With 36 colours and a fairly large upright format, it suits stitchers who are already comfortable with counted work and enjoy a long project.

The 16-count Aida has a fine weave, so good lighting and, if needed, a magnifier make stitching easier. Everything needed to stitch is in the kit, while a hoop or frame, small scissors and a picture frame are not. Once washed and pressed from the back, the finished piece is ready to be framed.
