An autumn view handled like a watercolour: the stream running under the little bridge, the cottage in the background and foliage shading from yellow to deep red. The soft effect comes from many shades placed side by side, so it pays to work one area at a time, starting from the centre of the chart and watching the colour changes on the finer branches.
The fabric is evenweave and unprinted: you count the stitches from the full-colour symbolic chart. The instructions are in English, German and French, and the chart itself is easy to follow. You will also need a hoop or frame and, once finished, a frame for the picture: the upright format suits a wall piece well.
