A summer view of Lake Como, with houses along the shore and mountains behind, worked in counted cross stitch on evenweave Aida. With forty shades and a generous format it is a long-term project, better suited to stitchers who have already followed a symbol chart.
The kit provides all the stitching materials; you will also need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors, plus a frame or mount for the finished piece. The ecru fabric shows between the stitches and gives the landscape a warm tone, so it is worth leaving a comfortable margin around the design for framing.
