A badger and a young fox meet in a glade scattered with forget-me-nots, in a design taken from Hannah Dale's watercolour for Wrendale Designs. The speckled printed background gives the fabric depth, so the unstitched areas still read as woodland air.
The piece is worked in counted cross stitch from the chart, with backstitch for the outlines of faces and paws and French knots for the centres of the little flowers. The threads come pre-sorted and numbered on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You will also need a hoop or frame, small scissors and good light; the frame shown is not included.
