Autumn in the Mountains

An autumn scene in the mountains: a wooden cabin with its porch, a small bridge over the stream and a tree heavy with orange leaves, worked in soft shading that gives the landscape depth. Everything needed for the stitching is in the box, with the threads already sorted on the organiser so you can start straight away.

It is worked in counted cross stitch from a symbolic chart; the fabric is unprinted, so it helps to mark the centre and stitch area by area. The many shaded tones make it better suited to someone with a few projects behind them. You will also want a hoop or frame and small scissors; the frame shown is not included.
