A quiet city moment: a well-wrapped little boy bringing his face close to his Yorkshire terrier, in shades of blue, grey and brown. With so many colours and the soft shading of the fur and the background, it calls for some patience in changing threads, so it suits stitchers who have already completed a few cross stitch pieces.
The design is worked on white Aida following the full-colour symbol chart, and the threads come already sorted on the organiser so you can start straight away. The frame is not included: a hoop or frame helps while stitching, and once finished the piece can be laced over board and framed, perhaps with a pale mount to echo the white fabric.
