Waiting for Christmas

A Christmas scene full of small details: the long-bearded gnome warms his feet by the fire while the stockings wait to be filled and the teddy bear keeps watch over the parcels. It suits stitchers with some experience of counted cross stitch, as there are plenty of colours and the shading of the flames and the lantern needs careful chart reading.

The threads come already sorted by colour on the organiser, so you can start straight away. You will also want a hoop or frame and a sharp pair of embroidery scissors; the frame shown is not included. Once finished, the piece can be framed, mounted as a panel or made into a cushion to bring out every December.
