Description

Two long, slender cats with sweeping whiskers and a few flowers around them, worked on Aida following a large-square chart. These are small projects that travel well and can be finished in a few evenings; alongside the cross stitch there are a few long stitches for details such as whiskers and stems.

The kit provides fabric, threads, needle and the ribbon for the top of the bookmark; to finish the back you will need a piece of card or felt to glue or stitch on, so the reverse of the embroidery is covered. A hoop and a small pair of embroidery scissors are handy too. With two in the pack, you can keep one and give the other to a keen reader.
