Description

Two vintage dress forms with pink and blue corsets and cascades of flowers, worked in cross stitch on a long, narrow strip of fabric. Apart from the crosses there are just a few long stitches and some back stitch for the outlines and finer details, so it is a quick project even with little experience.

Each bookmark takes only a few evenings and can be finished by fraying the edges or by backing it with felt or fabric. Fabric, threads and needle are included: a small hoop and a pair of embroidery scissors make the stitching easier. A lovely gift for anyone who loves books and sewing.
