Cushion - A frosty friendship

A little bird wrapped up in hat and scarf, standing in the snow beside its small friend: a wintry design worked in cross stitch on canvas that is already hand-painted, so you follow the printed colours instead of counting stitches. The large holes and thick yarn make the work quick and easy to handle, which suits first-time stitchers and younger hands.

The kit provides the materials for the front of the cushion cover only: the inner pad and the backing fabric are bought separately, along with sewing thread. Once finished, simply back the piece with fabric and add a zip or buttons.
