Description

A ready-hemmed table runner with the design printed straight onto the cotton: you simply follow the coloured marks, with no counting on the fabric. The butterflies are worked in cross stitch, while the fine trails around them are stitched in stem stitch, a simple line stitch that is easy to pick up.

The printed design washes out, so a gentle wash at the end removes any unstitched marks. An embroidery hoop or frame makes the work more comfortable to handle. Once finished, the runner is ready to use on a dining table, a sideboard or a chest of drawers, and also makes a thoughtful gift for the home.
