A row of lily of the valley to embroider on the front of a cushion cover that is already made up and fitted with a zipper. The design is printed on the fabric, so there is no counting: you follow the printed lines, working satin stitch for the flowers and stem stitch for the stalks. The printed outlines wash out once the embroidery is finished.
The cushion pad is not included: when the stitching is done, simply slip in a 40 × 40 cm inner cushion. An embroidery hoop makes the work easier to handle. With only three colours and two simple stitches, this is a good project for anyone new to freehand embroidery.
