A raccoon peeping out from green leaves makes the front panel of a cushion cover, worked in cross stitch on a large-hole canvas that is already hand-painted: you follow the colours printed on the canvas instead of counting stitches, and the thick yarn covers the ground quickly. A good choice for first-time stitchers and for older children.
The kit holds everything needed for the front panel only: the cushion pad and the backing fabric are not included. Once the stitching is done, sew on a cotton or velvet back and insert a square pad of the same size; the panel can also be stretched and framed instead.
