Description

The design is printed on the front of a made-up cushion cover that already has its zipper: you stitch straight onto the fabric, following the printed lines, which wash out once the work is finished. The stitches involved are the classic freestyle ones, french knots included, and the stylised flowers combine fine outlines with densely filled areas, so it suits someone with a little embroidery practice behind them.

An embroidery hoop makes the work easier and is not part of the kit; the cushion pad is not included either. When the stitching is done, wash gently, press on the wrong side and slip in the pad: the cover is already sewn and ready to use.
