Description

A wall height chart to work in cross stitch, with animals climbing up the scale of centimetres. The large-square chart is easy to follow even with little experience, and the design is worked in cross stitch with a few long stitches for the details. The alphabet supplied lets you add the child's name and date of birth, as shown in the photo.

The kit comes with fabric, threads and needle: you only need a hoop or frame and a small pair of scissors to begin. To hang it you will need a finishing touch — a wooden rod with cord, or a narrow frame — which are not included. It makes a lovely gift for a birth or a christening, personalised before you hand it over.
