Description

Two red cotton placemats, already hemmed and with the design printed on them: you simply cross stitch over the printed squares, with no fabric threads to count. The print washes out at the first wash, leaving only the white embroidery with the gingerbread house, the two little men and the falling snow.

Only one thread colour is used, so the work goes quickly and suits anyone with little experience or looking for a Christmas project to finish in a few evenings. Everything you need is in the kit except a hoop or frame, handy for keeping the fabric taut. Once washed and pressed, the mats are ready for the festive table.
