Description

A ready-made table runner, hemmed and finished with an inwoven border, carrying an autumn scene: a hedgehog peeping out of the leaves, a robin perched on a red lantern, berries and wheat ears. The design is printed straight onto the fabric, so there is no counting involved: you stitch over the printed colours, which wash out afterwards.

The work is cross stitch with a little back stitch for the outlines; the DMC threads are included, while a frame and small scissors are not. A large hoop or a square frame helps keep the cotton taut. Once finished, a gentle wash and a press on the wrong side are all it takes before it goes on the table or sideboard.
