Description

A square, ready-hemmed tablecloth with the field flowers printed straight onto the fabric: you stitch over the print, with no counting involved, and once the work is finished the printed design washes out, leaving only the embroidery. Alongside cross stitch you will use long stitch for the elongated petals and stem stitch for stalks and twigs, all explained in the instructions.

Everything you need is in the kit apart from a small pair of scissors and, if you like working with the fabric under tension, a hoop or frame to move around the design. It is an easy project to pick up a little at a time, suitable for stitchers with limited experience, and it ends up as a spring cloth for a side table or the centre of the table.
