A square tablecloth, already hemmed, with the design printed straight onto the fabric: you stitch over the printed colours without counting threads, and the print washes away at the first wash, leaving only the embroidery. The motifs run along the four sides and leave the centre clear, so the cloth stays practical to lay the table with.
It is worked in cross stitch with back stitch for the outlines; everything you need to stitch is included, threads and needle as well, so you only need a hoop or frame if you like to keep the fabric taut. A good project for stitchers with little experience and an easy way to dress the table at the end of October, year after year.
